What we collect

When you request a quote we ask for your name, phone number and email address. The property address and a description of your project are optional — you only give them if you want an on-site estimate.

If you choose to book an appointment we also store the date and time slot you picked. If you choose to hold your install date with a deposit, we record that you asked for one; the payment itself is handled by our payment processor and we never see or store your card number.

What we do with it

We use your information to prepare your quote, schedule your estimate, and contact you about your project. That is all.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run the business — the software that stores our quote requests and sends our texts, and the processor that handles deposits — and only to the extent they need it to do that job.

Analytics and advertising

We may use tools from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that use cookies or similar technology to measure visits and ad performance, such as which ad or search brought you to our site. When you submit a form we record where your visit came from (for example the ad campaign) together with your request. You can limit this with your browser’s cookie settings, Google’s Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) and Meta’s Ad Preferences. We do not sell your personal information.

How we contact you

We call, text or email you about the request you sent us. If you check the text-message box on our forms, you agree to receive text messages from TruLights LLC about your quote and free estimate, appointment scheduling, reminders and updates, and replies to your questions (customer care only; no marketing or promotional texts). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call or text (979) 549-8827. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No sharing of mobile information: we do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (our texting/CRM platform) and only to deliver them. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests as long as we need them for the job and for our business records. If you want your information deleted, call or text us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have on file about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text (979) 549-8827 and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is for homeowners and business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
