Quotes and estimates

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. Any price we give before seeing your property is an estimate. The final price is the one on the written quote you receive after the on-site visit, and it holds for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.

Deposits and scheduling

A deposit holds your install date. For permanent installations the deposit is $500; for seasonal displays it is 50% of the quoted display, taken once the quote exists. It is applied to the final invoice. If you cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled date, the deposit is refunded in full. Inside 7 days it covers the crew time and materials already committed to your job.

If we have to move your date because of weather or something on our side, we will reschedule at no cost to you and your deposit carries over.

The work

Installation dates depend on weather and on the condition of the surfaces we mount to. If we find damaged fascia, unsafe wiring, or anything else that has to be corrected before we can install, we will stop, show you, and give you the cost in writing before continuing.

Access to a working exterior outlet is required. If your home needs one added, that is electrical work quoted separately.

Warranty

Product warranty terms are the manufacturer’s and are stated on your written quote and invoice, along with what our own labor warranty covers and for how long. Ask us for those terms in writing before you pay a deposit — we will hand them to you.

The warranty does not cover damage from storms, impact, remodeling, pressure washing, or anyone other than us modifying the system.

Payment

The balance is due on completion unless your written quote says otherwise. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice.

This website

The photographs under Our Work are TruLights installations we completed. The house that changes color in the header, the four frames of the same home going from day to night, and the preview beside the estimate are produced visualizations, labelled as such, made to show what the system does; they are not photographs of a job. Nothing on this page is a guarantee that your home will look identical. Your written quote and the design we prepare for your roofline are what govern your job.

Nothing on this website is a contract. The contract is the written quote you sign.

If you opt in on our website, TruLights LLC will text you about your quote and free estimate, appointment scheduling, reminders and updates, and replies to your questions (customer care only; no marketing or promotional texts).
